How do you know if you have a gluten allergy or sensitivity?

I always had stomach aches and digestive problems. I started to realize that I would go into a food coma after eating things with wheat. I had eliminated wheat from my diet for several weeks and then ate something with a lot of wheat in it and literally fell asleep in the car on the drive home. (thankfully, i was a passenger, not the driver).
If you feel foggy after eating or are lacking energy or have a lot of digestive challenges, I highly recommend going gluten-free.

I have eczema and fibromyalgia and it was suggested to me that I might possibly have a wheat allergy because of my skin problems.  Some fibro sufferers actually swear by going gluten-free too because it helps tremendously with their fatigue.  I'm new to all of this and I'm trying very hard to maintain a gluten-free lifestyle.  I've slipped up on occasion because I forget to read labels or have a brain fart when it comes to breads, but I'm actually starting to feel a little better.
