Comment by Mrs. Scrimp on August 3, 2011 at 5:07pm I'm not an infertility blogger, but infertility is a subject close to my heart. My husband and I have been TTC for just about two years now, with no success and a lot of illness and struggle.
Comment by SmartOneKym on July 13, 2011 at 8:08pm Hi, Keiko (and everyone)! I know Keiko from the infertility blogosphere. I jumped at the opportunity to be an early member of Bliss Connect to continue reaching out and advocating for infertility awareness. I have what I consider "subfertility" in the form of PCOS. We tried for 2.5 years to conceive naturally before receiving a diagnosis. I was finally able to conceive each of my pregnancies on Clomid, and now we have four lovely children (twins, two singletons). I knew that we we were lucky; as a way to help others, I then became a gestational surrogate. I delivered a baby boy 4 years ago to my former intended parents. I tried unsuccessfully to help 3 other couples since then, and now I'm hung up my surrogacy hat and am "retired."
I still advocate for infertility awareness. Though I have completed my family, reproductive health is still important to me as PCOS will always continue to affect my health and well-being. I enjoy being able to help others as a source of information and support through their own infertility journeys, especially when at the early stages of diagnosis or when third-party reproduction is needed. I look forward to getting to know everyone better!
Comment by Rebecca A on July 10, 2011 at 3:02pm I'm excited to join this circle in hopes that I could connect with other young women who have had a hysterectomy at a young age and now have to live with the aftermath of cancer.
I am taking an HRT that I find relief from but realize that after trying other natural alternatives that didn't help that not too many people are in my shoes.
